Summary: window starts offscreen on multidisplay computer
           Product: Wireshark
           Version: 0.99.6
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Trivial
          Priority: Low
         Component: Wireshark

with GnuTLS 1.6.1, with Gcrypt 1.2.3, with MIT Kerberos, with PortAudio
PortAudio V19-devel, with AirPcap.

Running on Windows XP Service Pack 2, build 2600, with WinPcap version 4.0.1

I downloaded Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista Installer (.exe),
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wireshark/wireshark-setup-0.99.6a.exe
from
http://www.wireshark.org/download.html

and installed it, using default settings (including gtk2).

each time it runs, it starts offscreen.

I have a Dell Latitude D610 laptop. the internal primary display is 1400x1050
and is logically below the external Dell LCD 1600x1200.

This is almost certainly at least partially a bug in Gtk2 and not really
Wireshark. However, I didn't download or install Gtk2, Wireshark included it,
and as an end user, I consider that an implementation detail.

I'd file this bug as unconfirmed, but that option isn't available to me :(.
