When I click preferences and choose apply or okay the file name on the title
bar disappears . It is very hard to find which trace i am looking at when i
have multiple windows open.

Say for instance i have the title bar as "filename.cap:
I select preferences --> ok

the Title changes to "The Wireshark Network Analyzer"

I have to reload the trace again to get the file name again.
