Hello,
I have noticed some errors with the Lua plugin on Windows. I am running
0.99.0 on Windows XP SP.
I am new to Lua so I apologyze in advance if I don't use the rigth terms.
1) Compilation error with the Trivial protocol in
http://wiki.ethereal.com/Lua/Dissectors.
The protocol declaration refers to the Protocol class (or is named a
table ?) seems to be wrong . The following error message is displayed in
a pop up:
Lua: Error during loading: [string "trivial.lua"]:4: attempt to call
global 'Protocol' (a nil value)
The error seems to be fixed by changing "Protocol" into "Proto"
I can change the Wiki page the but I would like to have a confirmation
before.
2) I have a "run-time" error with this trivial protocol : attempt to
call method 'add_item' (a nil value).
I tried to debug with print method, the tree, buffer varaibles looks
fine. I really don't known what to do now, but I owuld be happy to help.
3) Some wiki pages point to the following URL that apparantly does not
exist : http://wiki.ethereal.com/Lua/Proto
