Actually, I kept on downloading, even from different sites. Every (try 
to) installation struggle's with the same error:
I rephrase the error message in detail:

This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.

You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.

I really wonder what is going on. I could install the same version on my 
old win32 system which is running Win XP Pro SP1.
