Wireshark · Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Rpcapd Freebsd

Hi all,

I search some documentation to learn how-to installed and use rpcapd on a freeBSD box.

I try to install from the source,
./configure = ok

after i type;

localhost# make
sed -e 's/.*/static const char pcap_version_string[] = "libpcap version &";/' ./VERSION > version.h
gcc -O2 -I. -DHAVE_CONFIG_H  -D_U_="__attribute__((unused))" @V_HAVE_REMOTE@ -c ./pcap.c
gcc: @V_HAVE_REMOTE@: No such file or directory
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/home/sniffer/rpcapd/winpcap/wpcap/libpcap.


Someone have an idea?

I have install Ethereal on a my BSD, i think it install libpcap, but how to know if it compile with the remote option?
