Title: Dissector bug, protocol HTTP - problem
Anyone have any idea of how I could stop these messages or if there is something I'm doing wrong?
It does an:

adns warning: sendto failed: Network is unreachable (NS=XXX.YYY.ZZZ.WWW) where it tries a few different addresses. I assume I get this since the computer its running on is not connected to the internet, but how do you turn them of?

Thanks,

Nicklas

Subject: [Ethereal-users] Dissector bug, protocol HTTP - problem

First of all I would Like to thanks everyone for the help I have recieved so far in my little journey to understand etherel. I have now run into a new little problem which I don't understand.

I got ahold of a new computer which I installed FreeBSD 5.4 on from scratch and now when I run tethereal on it i keep getting:

** WARNING **: Dissector bug, protocol HTTP: "Request Version" - "http.request.version" invalid length: -xx (proto.c:2104)]

Where xx is number which changes between..oh say 5 to 47. I haven't really checked exactly though. Anyway I didn't get these errors on on the other computer I used though I had the same dumpfiles. Do you think this is problem with FreeBSD or  problem with tethereal or one of its dependencies ?

I don't even know what the bug means so any help would gratefully accepted.

Thanks,

Nicklas
