The only issue would be for Ethereal to "find" the packet capture library
(libpcap). Might have to tweak some registry entries for that to happen (not
real sure right now).

Other than that, there should be no reason for it not to run from any
external media.

I wanted to know if its possible to run Ethereal from a CD in windows? I
want to use it as a tool  on any machine with fast access to a CD drive, but
I didnt see any documentation about weither or not this is possible. Help!
