Hi,
If you downloaded from http://www.ethereal.com/download.html and chose Source that code is common for all platforms.
 
You can read the .c files with MSVC but there is no "project". Compilation is done from the command line and require some tools to be built see:
 
And in th sources ../ethereal/README.win32 and ethereal/doc/README.design and README.developer

hi.. i've downloaded the latest release 0.10.13 of ethereal.. is this source code for windows or linux? if it is for windows, can we open it and run it using MS visual C++ version 6 and how?
