I don't know whether anybody's tested it.
Is there a M$ compiler for 64 bit Windows that satisfies the GPL requirements? Or will some other compiler suite become mandatory?
(You can compile and distribute 32 bit Ethereal with VC6 but not VC7 because you can't distribute the required M$ DLL)
