I am using dlink DWL-520+ PCI wireless adapter. I have

use ethereal 0.10.8 to capture my packets (with

promiscuous mode by two methods 1)by using -p
parameter in the shell prompt 2) from the ethereal gui
However i find that ethereal captures packets in
promiscuous mode and i could find that ethereal
capture contains packets from all the nodes.
Can any one please let me how to disable the
promiscuous mode in wireless interface
You would do it by contacting whoever supplies or develops the driver
for your adapter and ask them whether promiscuous mode is supported by
the driver and, if not, ask them to fix the driver so it is. Ethereal
doesn't come with drivers for network adapters; we leave it up to others
to do that.
(Promiscuous mode on Windows with 802.11 cards tends to cause the cards
to go into a mode not particularly useful for packet capture, so, even
though you haven't said what OS you're using, I suspect it's Linux or
some BSD, rather than Windows, in which case it might be possible to
contact the developer directly - but it might still be Windows, in which
case you'd probably have to contact the vendor of the card.)
