I've the same problem with Windows 98SE French version.
I've posted (sorry without subject) few days ago. But no reply.

I've seen a new pre-release is done. Not tested yet.
Have you ?

The crash message was :
ETHEREAL a causé une défaillance de page dans
 le module LIBGLIB-2.0-0.DLL à 0177:0054ac32.
