Regarding your 1st question, try the "bitwise_and" operator in the display filter. Remember that any display filter expression (including the ones you enter as a color filter) always evaluates as either true or false.

Hello,

First of all I d like to thank you for this amazing analyser which is ethereal

I have loaded the latest version of ethereal (0.10.6) but I use it for a while
Windows XP OS

In fact I would like to (display at least) some modbus function code which are not in the standar library

My question is :
Is there a way to display into a modbus datagram specific color depending (unknown) function code ?
I thought the or_mask function could do it but I can't make it running :(

The other thing is :
Is there a way to add specific function code into etheral in order to increase modbus known request without going into source code ?

Last thing
If there is no other way to go into the C where shall I find modbus "description" in order to add my own request list

Thanks by advance for your feedback and your help
Best regards
Jerome
