Hi,
Ethereal can only decode text encoded MEGACO, that works for transport ower SCTP, I haven't tried TCP or UDP if your traces are over TCP/UDP
have you set the edit->preferences->protocol-MEGACO ports to the correct values?

I am trying to capture megaco packets and in looking at protocol list when capturing it is selected, yet I don't see any dissection to that level. I have the exact same trace using an Emperix Hammer transport sniffer and can see the messages dissected all the way down to megaco.  If I save the trace on the Hammer box and open it with ethereal I can 't see MEGACO.  Is there something else I need to do, or is this protocol not supported. Please help.
