I using Debian version 2.6.6-1-686 and I installed the
Ethereal using apt-get install but when I try to run I
receive the following error: 

"Inconsistency detected by ld.so:
../sysdeps/i386/dl-machine.h: 647:
elf_machine_rel_relative: Assertion `((reloc->r_info)
& 0xff) == 8' failed!"

Does anybody knows how to fix it? I don´t have a clue
from where I should start.
