Hi:

I am trying to use ethereal to monitor traffic from an edonkey server. After ethereal analyzes some traffic, I see the edonkey packets indicating files being shared (in the info section - "eDonkey UDP: Get Sources"), searches ("eDonkey UDP: Search File"), and unmatched searches ("eDonkey UDP: File not found").

I do not see any packets relating to completed searches or transfers. My (very limited) understanding of the eDonkey protocol and the description provided here,
http://www.ethereal.com/lists/ethereal-dev/200307/msg00217.html
suggest I should see this in ethereal. I also see a lot of eDonkey packets which seem to be classified as TCP. Could someone give me a pointer to a doc which might explain how ethereal analyzes eDonkey packets?

I am running ethereal 0.10.5 on Win2K, Pentium 4, 2Ghz.

regards,
DrTiny
