I'm trying to set this up on SCO Open Server 5.0.7. I know it's not specifically mentioned, but I thought I'd give it a try.
I'm running configure in /tmp/ethereal-0.10.4/ with no additional options and here's what I get:

[ksh@vsi3]# ./configure
checking build system type... i686-pc-sco3.2v5.0.7
checking host system type... i686-pc-sco3.2v5.0.7
checking target system type... i686-pc-sco3.2v5.0.7
checking for a BSD-compatible install... ./install-sh -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... no
checking for mawk... no
checking for nawk... nawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... no
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler
 cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
[ksh@vsi3]#

Is this due to it be attempted on 5.0.7 or is there something else I'm missing?
