Hi
I have large captures of SMPP protocol.
I want to organize the packets in order based on a
protocol parameter called sequence #
I want to be able to group all sequence id’s together
then identify the latencies for the response times.
This is a general question due to the fact that most
protoclls have some sort of transaction id’s that we
need to match.
Is there a way for a filter to look at an SMPP submit
message, look at the sequence id and find it’s match.
This would have to be on the fly. right now in the
filter I would have to type the sequnce id. I have
over 200,000 messages here so this would take
forever.
Once it finds it’s match put those two packets in
order. A real stretch would be having the RTT graph
graph based on latencies on the submit response of
these sequence #’s
Thanks
Brian
