Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Build on Win32: Application failed to start because wiretap-0.0
Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to build Ethereal 0.10.0a on Windows XP with Visual C++ 6.0. I've
followed the instructions in README.win32 - and downloaded the
tools/Makefile.nmake which seems to be missing from the source code
distribution.
I have cygwin plus Win32 Perl, Python and Flex.
The build appears to succeed, but when the make file tries to run
tethereal.exe, or when I run ethereal.exe, I get the error
"Unable to locate component: The application has failed to start because
wiretap-0.0.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this
problem."
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
