Hello Joshua,
I treid to put the card in promiscuous mode manually
with the command ifconfig eth0 up promisc. Though the
iwconfig showed that it is associated with AP, it was
missing beacon frames. Then I opened aironet client
utility by cisco and that cleared showed that my card
was flip-flopping again between two AP's. So one thing
is clear that the problem is of the card driver to put
the card in promiscuous mode. I am using the latest
driver from the cisco site. I again checked it with
the link you gave me. The driver I have is the same
and is that latest. Can you please suggest me what to
do now?
Thanks a million.
