You just did.

On the other hand, to be sure that they listen to you, a small sacrifice is in 
order.

Prepare a small package containing:
  Your windows version (which you did, but include any service packs etc.)
  Your Ethereal version
  Anything else about your setup that might have a bearing on the problem
  An exact description of the crash. (GPF (where), blue screen etc.)

and leave it here, on the alter.
