The only part of that having anything to do with Ethereal (as opposed to
HP-UX) is the "configure into promiscuous mode" part.  By default,
Ethereal will run in promiscuous mode *IF* the network interface
supports it - just make sure the "Capture packets in promiscuous mode"
option is selected.
