For a capture filter (i.e. only capture packets that match this filter):
 
host 192.168.0.1
 
That should work regardless of whether that IP address is the source or destination in the packet.

I know this is basic, I’ve had a go and can’t get it to work for me….

 

I’d like to filter on a source IP address (Trying to track an issue with BT ADSL!!!!)

 

Any idiot proof instructions for a W2K installation?
