You might try tcpstat to read your cap files. I have not used it, but found
it mentioned on www.tcpdump.org:

  http://www.frenchfries.net/paul/tcpstat/

Also ntop, at http://ntop.ethereal.com/ntop.html can help.
It may not be able to read existing files though.
