Hi,

That sounds like an excellent idea.
There are already some example capture files on the ethereal website
but way too few.

Do you volunteer to collect a set of public captures, captures not
containing any sensitive data that can be added to the collection? That
would be a very
valuable addition.

The captures should only be crated on dedicated test systems not holding
anything
sensitive and the captures might need to be pruned to only display
"interesting"
protocols.

I think many people would like more CIFS captures, iSCSI, NDMP,
etc etc.


Captures showing things like TCP Fast Retransmissions, when after a
retransmission
a TCP switches from SlowStart to CongestionAvoidance etc would be useful.
Even better with a short text pointing to interesting packets and what they
mean.
