This is almost certainly either

	1) a WinPcap problem of some sort

or

	2) the result of some new software being added, or some other
	   system change (even if it's not a change you made
	   explicitly)

rather than a result of anything Ethereal is doing (Ethereal relies on
libpcap/WinPcap to do the low-level work of capturing, and the interface
list is a list of the interfaces that libpcap/WinPcap allows it to open
- if libpcap/WinPcap won't let it open an interface, it won't show that
interface, so even if you typed that interface's name in, you probably
wouldn't be able to capture on it).
