I capture RTP all the time.  You do have to locate the RTP stream, highlight
a packet, right click and decode AS and select RTP.  It might decode one
half, so you might need to click a packet going the other direction and
decode that too.  Same for the RTCP.

For some reason I don't see any RTP and RTCP protocol traffic (even labeled
as UDP). I set up an RTP session on a local machine (both ends on the same
machine as ethereal) and I don't seem to capture the messages I'm looking
for.  The RTP session is working fine.

I new to this tool so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

Any help appreciated
