I'm unable to install the ethereal-base-0.8.20-1.i386.rpm package on redhat
7.1 and get the error:

# rpm -i ./ethereal-ba*
error: failed dependencies:
        libcrypto.so.0 is needed by ethereal-base-0.8.20-1
        libsnmp.so.0 is needed by ethereal-base-0.8.20-1

I have openssl installed and have made a symbolic link to
/usr/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.6 called libcrypto.so.0 but doesn't seem to help.

At this point I'm not really interested in SNMP support but do have the SNMP
extensions installed:
# rpm -q -a | grep snmp
ucd-snmp-4.2-12
ucd-snmp-utils-4.2-12

Any help would be much appreciated!!
