What does "it didn't save" mean?

Well, there's Richard Sharpe's manual for it, at

although it's for Ethereal 0.8.11, and wouldn't describe features added
after 0.8.11 came out.

What are you trying to do?  Are you trying to capture traffic, or do you
have some traffic that you're looking at?
