Apologies for not clarifying: With tcpdump.org's 3.6.2.

With 0.6.2, traffic is represented as one huge unknown packet, and iirc
ethereal crashes if the capture is continued.  Moving back to 0.5 fixes
this problem completely.

If you're interested, I can retry with 0.6.2 and more accurately report
the anomalies.
