I have changed to Ethereal 0.8.16 and i can now see the IP header
information 
including the IP destination address.

I understand the problem about resolving Ethernet MAC addresses so i am
giving up on that. The source/destination addresses are still in MAC
form but the packet info has the IP addresses and TCP port number.
