Do you have a "~/.ethereal/preferences" file?

If not, what happens if you run

	xfd -fn 6x13

If so, what does it list for the "gui.font_name" preference, and what
happens if you try to use that font name as the argument to "xfd"?  (It
probably has asterisks in it, so quote it.)
