No one else is seeing this behaviour in ethereal on NT except me?
Summary:
When capturing packets in non-promiscuous mode, all ethereal captures
are received packets and not sent packets. ( e.g.: only echo reply )
When capturing packets in promiscuous mode, both sent and received
packets are captured. ( .e.g: both echo request and echo reply )

I have been using ethereal on my linux box, and have also been using
ethereal on my nt installation.
I noticed that if I tell etheral to start capturing packets, but
disabled promiscuous mode, it does not capture packets that my host
sent. For example, if I ping, I only get echo replies on ethereal. If
I recapture packets, but enable promiscuous mode, it then shows both
echo requests and echo replies.
I noticed this behaviour only on the etheral-NT. ethereal on linux is
okay.
Using 0.8.14 in both linux and NT.
