Alas, je ne parle pas français, ainsi je répondrai à ceci en anglais.
(I had Babelfish translate that from English to French; it's probably as
badly fractured French as the English the Babelfish generates - it
translated your message as
I come from telecharger your software ETHEREAL as well as the
necessary package of bookshops A his correct operation under
win32.Malgres that, by lancant the appliquation, it arrete by me
announcing itself that it misses the DLL: Packet.dll. what is
true!! or then I to find it, or that it error I made. Thank you
for your answer and your assistance
so I can imagine how absurd its French translation of "Alas, I don't
speak French, so I'll answer this in English." above might sound to
someone who knows French.
The Babelfish *did* manage to translate
I have downloaded your Ethereal package.
to
J'ai téléchargé votre module éthéré.
so it *does* understand "téléchargér" - perhaps the fact that the
accents were missing in the letters in your message kept it from
translating it properly. Obviously, it thought "Ethereal" was an
adjective, not a proper noun....)
You need the WinPcap package; see
http://netgroup-serv.polito.it/winpcap/
If you have already installed that, you may have to arrange that your
path include the directory in which it installed "Packet.dll"; I'm
currently running FreeBSD on my machine, so I'll have to check on my NT
partition to see what would be involved there.
(And now for the Babelfish's translation of that into French:
Vous avez besoin du module de WinPcap; voyez
http://netgroup-serv.polito.it/winpcap/
Si vous avez déjà installé cela, vous pouvez devoir arranger que votre
voie d'accès incluent le répertoire dans lequel elle a installé
"Packet.dll"; J'exécute actuel FreeBSD sur ma machine, ainsi je devrai
vérifier ma cloison de NT pour voir ce qui serait impliqué là.
