i'm trying to debug an ssh port-forwarding problem [1] under windows
98 so i'd like to be able to capture traffic that under un*x would be
via the loopback interface.  is there a loopback interface under
windows?  if so, how do i specify tell ethereal to use it?

alternatively, is there some way for me to capture the desired
traffic?

thanks for any help.


p.s. i manually searched the mailing list archives for the past few
months but didn't find anything.  the htdig searching capabilities
didn't work for me somehow (no results are displayed on the page).

[1] the fun thing is that the problem appears to manifest itself under
    f-secure and tera term pro + ssh extension but not under secure crt or
    mindterm.  actually i suspect the problem is elsewhere on the system
    but i'd like to be able to grab the raw traffic to make a determination.
