hi sir, i am having some basic queries please send me the answers
1. what are the advantages of ethereal? means what type of problems can be solved by using this tool.
2. In the documentation you have given that network problems can be solved by using this tool? can you give some examples.
3. what happens when users sends encrypted data? how it is going to analyze the packet.
4. can you define the filters?
5.this tool will capture the packet means it will take the copy of that packet, and it will allow that packet in the network means it will not affect that packet if that packet contains some harmful data which may crash the system at that time how this tool is helpful.
6.what is an interface?
7. what is an protocol tree?
8. you are using tcpdump what it actualy do?
9.in coding you have used "foo protocol" what is foo here?
10.In the architecture of ethereal you have used plugin, wiretap can you define
the what is meant by plugins?
