Hello List,
My proto is running atop UDP and TCP. When the packet length overcomes 1500 bytes it's desegmented. When on TCP, fragments are shown at TCP level, when on UDP they are shown at IP level. So, for the TCP case I use tcp_dissect_pdus(), for UDP I just select the option 'Rassemble IP fragments' from the IP Preferences Menu.
What if I used the second reassembling mode (modyfing the pinfo struct discussed at par. 2.7.2) for both cases? Would I be shown split packets already reassembled (both on TCP and UDP)?
