Subject: [Ethereal-users] Fwd: couple of issues with T38 support in current
    SVN builds

I have been trying out the additional t.38 fax support in the current
SVN builds - first of all it is a really great feature! I did notice
a couple of issues; hopefully they can be fixed before the next
release.

The attatched trace shows an H323 call through a Session Border
Controller, so there are two H323 legs. There are RTP (G.729) packets
exchanged before the call transitions to T.38. I see a few froblems
as follows -

1. Some RTP packets (209.58.84.42 --> 209.58.84.99) are displayed as
RTP in the packet list pane, however they are dissected incorrectly as
T.38 packets in the packet details pane.

2. When I use the Statistics->Voip Calls option, I see three sessions
- the two H323 call legs and one T.38 Media only flow. If I Graph the
T.38 flow I only see a couple fax messages, however I see all of the
fax messages when I graph one of the H323 calls.

3. Also in the Statistics->Voip Calls option, The Stop Time does not
appear to be correct for the T38 flow.. I have other captures that
sometimes show extremely long stop times for the T38 flow.

I would be happy to test any fixes or provide any more info if nedded.

Best Regards,

Mike Oliveras
