I don't know that specific file, but  I know a lot of Ethereal source
files in desperate need of a cleanup.

plugins are quite helpful when doing "distributed development" of a

And it's easier to replace a DLL instead of the whole exe (sorry, win32
speak).


I agree that there's currently no "real" reason to use a plugin or not...
