I used the automated build. So I installed CygWin, flex/bison for Win32 first. Then I launched a VC98/bin script to permit compile on command line. I cleaned the headers with cleanbld.bat. I compiled with nmake -f Makefile.nmake. And I got the error.

Now I see differences between the release and the SVN source code : asn1 (that's all?). What are the differences exactly ? About the libraries ? I used "nmake -f Makefile.nmake verify_tools" and it's ok.

I had a look to the document and I didn't see really more informations on win32.

Thanks,

Olivier.

Hello,

I've just tried to compile SVN Last source code under Windows XP. It doesn't work. It works for 0.10.9 release.

My error message:

Hi!

Both the buildbot builds and my personal WinXP build works fine.

I don't know of any changes in the ascend thing lately.

Are you aware, that the SVN and release builds slightly differ? You need additional tools (e.g. from cygwin) to build the SVN build. Have a look at the "Ethereal Developers Guide" for WinXP setup at http://wiki.ethereal.com/Development

BTW: Did you tried calling the cleanbld.bat first?
