Hallo Ulf,

Glad to see someone else is desirous of better comments :-)  I'd like to
encourage helpful comments to be added whenever possible.  It wasn't too
bad when Ethereal was a hundred or so files but now that it is pushing
1200 source files it is much harder to keep up with all the code.
