I have written a python script that enables you to view Tektronix

So which, if any, miscellaneous scripts should be put into the
distribution, and which should be on the Ethereal Wiki's Tools page:

The advantage of putting them into the distribution (which would include
installing them), at least in theory, is that the user doesn't have to
download them from the Wiki, although they might not know that they have
them if they're installed automatically - and, on Windows, they might
not have their path set to include the Ethereal installation directory,
so they might not automatically have them available from the command prompt.
Some advantages of putting them into the Wiki are
1) anybody can do it - you don't have to have the Ethereal core
developers do it for you;
2) they'd all be listed on the Tools page (or a subpage thereof, if the
Tools page gets too crowded).
We might want to include some selected scripts with Ethereal - ones
likely to be used by a large fraction of the users - and have the rest
in the Wiki.
You still need access to the Tektronix hardware, but
at least it is better than nothing...
Something to directly read the .rf5 files would be nice, but I don't
think anybody's found any documentation of the file format or had the
capture files or time to spend reverse-engineering it.
