No, I don't think so: The libraries are needed by the dissectors contained
in libethereal and thus should be linked directly into the lib. That way
it will be linked only once into libethereal instead of linking it into
ethereal and tethereal each.

But: AFAICS this differs from the approach used for the (Net|UCD)-SNMP
libraries. They are *not* linked into libethereal, but rather into
[t]ethereal and dftest currently.
