GIP is the Grouse Interface Protocol. The Grouse SMSCs from Telesoft-technologies use it - although I think they'd like it to become an open standard; GIP is much nicer to work with than CIMD/SMPP/OIS/UCP.

I'll post a GIP dissector & some example GIP traces in the next week or so.

I've not started a CIMD dissector but I'll put it on the TODO list, like yourself I've only currently got an easy source of CIMD snoops that I can't publish. I want to get the SS7 stuff pushing TP-UD into the GSM SMS UD dissector first...
