My experience in 100% of myself working in a cygwin setup (for an absolute
count of 2 :) was, that the cywin envirionment is slow, but *if* a cygwin
build envirionment is chosen, wouldn't it make sense to make the standard
unix build environment (autoconf etc) work and thus eliminate the need
for Makefile.nmake? Would cywin be able to compile with a non-cygwin
glib, gtk, zlib etc?
