I've recently checked in some changes to the print dialog (gtk/print_dlg.c) and the corresponding files.
The print dialog is now being able to (in addition to the features already implemented): 

-print only the selected packet
-print all captured packets (not only the ones being displayed)

-print the protocol tree "all collapsed"

Hopefully, this will be useful for someone, and doesn't invent new bugs.
As the "print only the selected packet" option obsoletes the "File->Print Packet" menu items, I deleted this menu items,
