Hi List!

I had the same problem, and solved it by simply deleting the marked lines, too. 

IMHO there is no reason, why there should be a different configuration of the GTK1.3 things, when switching between GLib1.3 and 2.0.

With the changes above, I can use GTK1.3 or 2.0 without any problems :-)
