I am building on a Windows 2000 workstation with cygwin installed. The nmake -f makefile.nmake is being ran from a cmd window so cmd is formating the message as Grep. It appears that it is failing on the -v switch for grep. If I take this out then the error does not occur.

Do I read that right and see 'Grep' with a capital g?
