This is a list of problems that I have verified to exist in the current
version of Ethereal (cvs):

- ./configure --disable-shared --enable-static
  will fail to build during linking stage at least on SuSE 8.1.
- Building plugins does not work on some platforms (e.g. SuSE 8.1, some
  HP/UX configurations):
  The plugins are linked dynamically instead of being dlopend at run time.
- You need to run autogen.sh manually after installing/deleting glib/gtk 1/2
  packages. This is only needed for people modifying configure.in/Makefile.am
  files.

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
