This sounds great! We now have another type of "conversations" that we can
tap ;^)))
The file format probably depends on the codec used in the transmission. The
".wav" format allows for encapsulation of several codecs (including the
popular mp3 format). I think even the ".avi" format can be a good choice
(with no video channel, unless we're also tapping video streams).

I think that it would be nice to be able to save the sound to a (.wav?)
file. It adds a slightly new capability, and also guarantees a minimal
level of functionality that should work on all platforms.
