I can launch Ethereal and it starts to log packet activity.
However when I launch Internet Explorer my system reboots itself.

I have read the FAQ's and see this is known problem, but I can't 
seem to find a solution anywhere.

My system
Compaq Presario 1800T laptop
WinMe
IE 5.5 Sp2
NIC - Intel 8255x-based PCI Ethernet Adapter (10/100)
WinPoet
DSL
WinCap 2.3

Please tell me what I need to do to get Ethereal to run on my system.
Ethereal runs great on my Win98 system, just not on this WinMe system.
